Weeks Hill Road Bridge, near the intersection of Mayo Farm Road, will close beginning Wednesday, September 30 at 9:00 AM to facilitate construction of a new bridge. Starting on Thursday, October 8 at 7am, in coordination between the Town of Stowe and VTrans, the intersection of VT-108 and Cape Cod Rd in Stowe is temporarily changed to a 3-way stop condition. This new traffic pattern is expected to remain in place until Wednesday, October 21. New temporary traffic control signs will be installed.

Signage is prohibited within state or town highway rights-of-way, as well as on utility poles, sign posts, or guardrails. This fall, please ensure that any signs are located on private property outside of the right-of-way, which is generally 25 feet from the center line of the road.

The Town's PFAS Response Plan includes the potential source evaluation of the property at 743 Barrows Rd. Our hope is to affirm a new PFAS free water supply at this location. The Town will hold a public informational meeting during the Selectboard meeting on Wednesday, April 29 at 5:30 PM.

The Weeks Hill Road bridge suffered a bridge deck failure on June 11th. In response the Town placed steel plates to stabilize the load bearing capacity, but the bridge can only carry passenger vehicles until the bridge deck is replaced.
