The Kids Carnival held at Stowe Elementary School on Saturday, January 24 has been cancelled due to the forecasted freezing temperatures.
On January 14 and January 28, the Stowe Selectboard will hold public hearings regarding potential charter amendments to increase local option taxes from 1% to 2%.
Listers set the policies, direct and review work of the Town Appraiser Tim Morrissey. In conjunction, with the Town Appraiser, the Board is responsible for the Town's Grand List of approximately 4,200 parcels. The Board is also present for grievance hearings.
