Starting on Wednesday, September 2, River Road in Stowe will be closed to thru traffic to facilitate a number of culvert replacements. Crews will begin with the culvert near 80 River Rd and work their way towards Moscow Road over the following two weeks. Please plan accordingly and seek alternate routes.
The Town Clerk staff and the Assistant Town Manager are all active Vermont Notaries Public. You may bring in documents to be notarized free of charge, during office hours.
Appointments are not required, but calling or emailing in advance is appreciated. Hours are 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday. The Town Clerk is closed until 12:00 PM on Wednesdays.

Your document must be brought unsigned and the Notary must witness your signature. Please do not sign the document until instructed to by the Notary.
The role of a Notary is to witness parties signing a document to ensure they are aware of the content, and are doing this action of their own free will. Please ensure all signing parties are present and have adequate personal identification (i.e. drivers license, etc.) Per Vermont state law, notary services may not be provided to anyone without picture identification unless the Notary has personal knowledge of them.
