Public Hearings Regarding Local Option Taxes

At Town Meeting 2026 on Australian Ballot, voters will be presented with two articles regarding a potential charter change. The first proposes a charter amendment increases the Local Option Sales Tax from 1% to 2%. The second article proposes a charter amendment increases the Local Option Room, Meals, and Alcohol Tax from 1% to 2%.
