Be Bear Aware!

As spring arrives, black bears are emerging from hibernation and actively searching for food. Bird feeders are a major attractant and can draw bears dangerously close to homes. To help keep both bears and your neighborhood safe, it’s best to take feeders down now and wait until late fall to put them back up. A small step like this goes a long way in preventing conflicts and protecting wildlife.
