All applications and associated fees must be submitted to the Vermont Department of Liquor Control through their online portal:

Any questions can be submitted to the town clerk at townclerk@stowevt.gov, or you can find more information at the Department of Liquor and Lottery - Division of Liquor Control.
After the application has been submitted to the Vermont Department of Liquor Control, it is then transmitted to the Town for approval. Liquor permits are approved by the Selectboard / Liquor Commission on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month. Please submit your application with as much lead time as possible to allow for the permit to be approved in a timely manner. If your application was submitted close to your event, please contact us at townclerk@stowevt.govto confirm it has been received and so we can advance it for approval.
IF YOUR APPLICATION IS NOT SUBMITTED TO DLC AT LEAST 30 DAYS BEFORE THE EVENT OR EXPIRATION DATE, IT MAY BE AT RISK OF NOT BEING APPROVED IN TIME.
