David Gale Recreation Center

The Recreation Center was built in 1969 and dedicated to David G. Gale in appreciation for his outstanding contributions to the Stowe Community. The building is a versatile, multi-purpose space buzzing with activity year-round. During the summer, the Recreation Center houses summer camp and during the school year, adult and youth programs take place. The David Gale Center also houses the Parks & Recreation administrative offices.

When the David Gale Center isn’t being used by Parks & Recreation, it can be rented for private functions like birthday parties, play groups, small gatherings and meetings. The child-friendly space includes a big-screen TV, sofas and board games. Additional tables and chairs or other recreational equipment are also available upon request. Rental fees:
$75 full day
$50 half day, for a maximum of four hours
