Stowe Recreation Path

The Stowe Recreation Path is an internationally recognized greenway stretching from Stowe Village to Topnotch Resort on the Mountain Road.

The Quiet Path is a low-impact extension of the Stowe Rec Path for walkers and joggers only. The natural surface path intersects portions of the Mayo Farm property and meanders along the West Branch of Little River. Interpretative signs and beautiful panoramic views make for a relaxing 1.8 mile tour and a favorite spot for plein air painters.

Memorial Park

Located behind Stowe Elementary School, Memorial Park is a central location for many recreational activities in the community including the Stowe Summer Camp. The park includes several amenities like basketball and tennis courts, baseball and softball fields, and the biggest attraction, the Stowe Community Playground!

David Gale Recreation Center

The Recreation Center was built in 1969 and dedicated to David G. Gale in appreciation for his outstanding contributions to the Stowe Community. The building is a versatile, multi-purpose space buzzing with activity year-round. During the summer, the Recreation Center houses summer camp and during the school year, adult and youth programs take place.

Stowe Arena

The Stowe Arena features ice from June through March and offers public stick time and public skating. It is home to the Stowe High School Raiders boys and girls hockey teams, Stowe Youth Hockey, and many other local and regional teams of all ages.

Chase Park

Located across from Stony Brook Condominiums on Luce Hill Road, just off the intersection of Rte. 108. Chase Park offers access to the multi-use Stowe Recreation Path, picnic tables, and a newly installed bike maintenance station.

Thompson Park

Located off Route 108 across from Percy Farm Corn Maze. Thompson Park is the perfect place to take a break along the Stowe Recreation Path. The park offers scenic views of Mt. Mansfield, picnic tables, and grills.

Lintilhac Park

Mayo Farm Event Fields

120 Weeks Hill Road, Stowe, VT 05672

Whether it’s on four wheels, a set of skis or a pair of cleats, just about everyone in Stowe has stepped foot on the Mayo Fields at least once. The 32 acre open space is home to the Co-ed Softball League, British Invasion, July 4th Celebration, Stowe 8-Miler, Bitter Lacrosse Tournament, Stowe Derby Cross Country Ski Race and much more.

Polo Fields

667 Weeks Hill Road, Stowe, VT 05672

The Polo fields are located next door to the Community Garden on the Mayo Farm property. With the capacity to accommodate several full size and modified sports fields in one 16 acre location, Polo has been an ideal spot for tournaments and league programs. Currently, Polo is home to Stowe Soccer Clubs, Mad River Rugby and the Stowe Flag Football League.
